Bio

I grew up performing in musical theatre on stages including the London Palladium. However it wasn't until I was 15 when I performed my first paid magic show in 1996, and decided to step away from the chorus line, and progress by leading my own show. I have since performed on several sold out theatres including the Buxton Opera House and Salford Lowry, as well as being featured on television shows such as Britain's Got Talent. 

I was the President of the Manchester Circle of Magicians for 2022, as well as their 2018 and 2023 Magician of the Year. I have won several magic competitions including the North West Championships.

I have also headlined on numerous cruise ships throughout the years, most recently I performed on 15 cruises during 2023-2024 to packed houses.  

I currently host and produce my own web series with over 300 episodes so far with over 5000 subscribers. I have written and produced over fifty books and DVDs on magic and lectured around the world.

While performing, I completed a B.A. (Hons) and Master’s degree in Television Production, and a PGCE in secondary school teaching. 

Achievement Timeline

• 2024 - Was the featured Magician on seven P&O Cruises, performing four different shows, eight different magic workshops, party game sessions and walkabout with puppets on each cruise. 

• 2023 - Was the featured Magician on six P&O Cruises, performing 16 different shows.

• 2023 - Awarded Magician of the Year by the Manchester Circle of Magicians.

• 2022 - Club President of the Manchester Circle of Magicians.

• 2021 - Started a 3 year, weekly residency at the Flying Horse Restaurant, Heald Green.

• 2021 - Started a weekly residency at Jump Heaven Trampoline Park, Hazel Grove.

• 2021 - Resident Entertainer at Pirates Bay, Blackpool Central Pier for their Summer Season.

• 2020 - Went back into teaching at a special-needs secondary school (for one year).

• 2020 - Planned and hosted over a dozen online Quiz nights for various clubs.

• 2020 - Completed several new books including "Body Magic" and "Magician Stories".   

• 2019 - Elected to council of the Manchester Circle of Magicians as the organiser and lecturer for all pre-slot meetings.

• 2019 - Started a 3+ year, weekly residency at Waterfold Farm Restaurant, Bury.

• 2019 - Performed four lectures and adult cabaret magic in the evening variety show on Fred Olsen Cruise Ship.

• 2018 - Performed four lectures on puzzles, and one children's magic show on Fred Olsen Cruise Ship.

• 2018 - Awarded Magician of the Year Trophy by the Manchester Circle of Magicians.

• 2018 - Completed writing my 26th book (9 on magic tricks, 2 on business strategies, 2 novels, 2 autobiographies, 2 puzzle books, 2 illustrated children's picture books, 2 short story collections, 1 software manual, 1 history book, 2 movie screenplays, 2 comic strips).

• 2017 - Performed at the Pineapple Dance Studios, London.

• 2017 - Became a recognized magic dealer, selling my own products at the worlds biggest magic convention.

• 2017 - Published my 40th DVD, teaching my magic effects and strategies.

• 2016 - Started Guest Speaking on Puzzles at WI, Rotary, Probus, clubs and Fred Olsen Cruise Ships.

• 2016 - Lectured at Numerous Magic Clubs around the UK, teaching my effects.

• 2016 - Was the headline act at a national convention with my cabaret show.

• 2016 - TV Show Warm-up act for all episodes of a children's TV show.

• 2016 - Balloon Modeler for 2 different cruises on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship - Oasis of the Seas.

• 2016 - Published my 723 pg, A4 size book on Marketing Strategies.

• 2015 - Performed my full one-hour Magic Workshop, at the sold-out Buxton Opera House.

• 2015 - Wrote, edited, hosted and published "Magic School" a YouTube series with over 60 episodes so far, with 5000 subscribers. 

• 2014 - My books and video products are released through Lybrary, Penguin and Murphy's, the three biggest magic publishers in the world.

• 2013 - Performed my family magic show on 2 different cruises on the P&O Cruise Ship - Aurora & Azura.

• 2013 - Performed for Wayne Rooney (Man Utd) for his sons birthday.

• 2013 - Awarded 2nd place in the North West Close-up Magical Championships.

• 2012 - Awarded 1st place in the North West Close-up Magical Championships.

• 2012 - Performed for the entire Man City FC Team at their Premiership win party.

• 2011 - Performed and featured on Britain's Got Talent TV show.

• 2010 - Became a bi-monthly article writer for the Magic Circular, the magazine of the famous Magic Circle.

• 2010 - Joined the famous Magic Circle club, London.

• 2010 - Started a YouTube series teaching magic, with 5000 subscribers and a video that became viral with over 180,000 views.

• 2010 - 1st place - Cabaret Magician of the Year at the Manchester Magic Club.

• 2009 - 1st place - Cabaret Magician of the Year at the Manchester Magic Club.

• 2008 - 1st place - Cabaret Magician of the Year at the Manchester Magic Club.

• 2008 - Performed Impromptu close-up magic at the Magic Castle, Los Angeles, USA.

• 2008 - Ran a school of magic for two months at Camp Mountain Chai summer camp in Los Angeles, USA. Was also the camp videographer, photographer, editor, lifeguard, archery instructor and councilor.  

• 2008 - Completed my PGCE to become a secondary school ICT Teacher.

• 2007 - Completed my Masters Degree in Film Production.

• 2006 - Completed my BA (Hons) in Television Production.

• 2005 - Began writing monthly articles for "The Magic Times" a magic magazine still publishing today.

• 2002 - Began 2 year residency at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Manchester performing close-up magic every Sunday afternoon.

• 2001 - Publisher releases my first best-selling book called "Body Tricks".

• 2001 - Completed contract on Brittany Ferries, performing daily cabaret shows.

• 2001 - Performed for Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd) at his New Year Party.  

• 2000 - Completed A-Levels in Musical Theatre at North Cheshire Theatre College.

• 1999 - Began 3 year residency performing close-up magic at the Victoria & Albert Hotel, Manchester performing close-up every Sunday afternoon.

• 1999 - Graduated North Cheshire Theatre College, a private theatre school.

• 1998 - Began 4 year residency at UGC cinema performing a cabaret magic show every Saturday morning for the kids cinema club.

• 1998 - In-house entertainer for the summer season at St Ives Holiday Village.

• 1998 - Opened my own magic shop in Stockport (closed it after 6 months).

• 1997 - Play area supervisor at McDonalds for three years, hosting parties.

• 1996 - Performed in an assemble cast in a show at the London Palladium.

• 1995 - Did my 1st professional full 45 minute magic show.

• 1992 - 1996 - Won numerous talent shows and earned LAMDA qualifications.
